The initial screening of wastewater is crucial to the whole wastewater treatment process systems. The screening process removes all materials sized over 1mm protecting with that way the mechanical equipment of the plant that follow (pumps, pipelines e.t.c.).

All parts of the screening equipment is made of stainless steel AISI 304 or 316. The mechanical rakes scraper is operated through PLC or conventional electrical systems.
The solids separated from the wastewater are carried away by a transport system equipped with a rotating screw press.
